LIFE OF WOMEN: FULL OF SACRIFICES
IT’S TIME NOW WE MEN SHOULD REALISE IT AND PAY DOWRY IN RETURN
I was sitting in front of my laptop and chatting with a friend of mine, who studies with me in my pgdm program. Starting with some general talks we entered into a mode of serious talks, and in a student’s life serious talk is nothing but about their future plans and career plan.
She is very smart, intelligent girl with a clean soul. She was sharing her future plans, to a great surprise of mine, she was only going to work for a year or so , I was quite surprised and amazed by listening that, but after knowing the reason I was more kind of shocked, my mind was blank for few seconds .
What a tragic situation it was?
The girl who has outperformed the boys in all fields in her whole life, starting from primary schooling to graduation and even in post graduation.
Is uncertain about her career, just because it would be time for her, when marriage bells would start ringing and she needs to tie knot with someone. She does not know whether her in-laws would allow to fulfill her dreams.
It’s a true affair and unfortunate ,rather disgrace to our society ,that stops somebody from realizing their dreams ,specially for someone who has been chasing her dreams throughout her life ,working day in and day out scoring excellent marks and outperforming others at every platform.
How our society can be so ruthless!!!...... they are ruining aspirations of so many young girls, just to fulfill their desire .Suppressing dreams of millions of young women.

Yes we men are ruining the greatest piece of nature, i.e., women, the life of a woman starts with sacrifice only, from sacrificing her mother’s milk (for her brother) to her education, upbringing and lately sacrificing their dreams and aspirations for the in-laws etc. These all things are brutally suppressed during the course of time. They become the victim of dowry death, molestation and other worst forms of criminalization.
Its appreciable that some changes have occured in our thought process and some girls are really fortunate that they need not sacrifice these things in their childhood or even in adolescent stage, but again the mirror maze starts for them when the time comes for performing the ritual of tying knot with someone who is a stranger for them.
We talk so big about women empowerment, talking about some handful women and boasting about their landmark achievements, not realizing that, our male dominated society never appreciates their efforts but wants to be a part of their success!
Our politicians want to pass a resolution wherein they talk of giving reservation to women, again the step lacks the motive instead it is just politically motivated, to reap benefits of governance out of it.
Women empowerment is not needed for women; rather morale empowerment is necessary for them as well as for all the men as to how to treat them and not restrict their thought process and ideas, by imposing our unauthentic and unworthy systems and beliefs.
The offensive people of our society, who seek pleasure in asking for big amount as dowry, should instead feel ashamed of doing so, instead they should give dowry to women, who sacrifice even their smallest of happiness, leaves their family, unrealized dreams and gives her entire life in hands of a stranger, having trust and belief on him.
Yes, it’s a fact that they are always the better and fairer sex than we men, but its uncanny that they are not treated as per their capability.
I was even more astonished when I was going through the quotes of satya sai baba, its unjustified that even he is talking, that women should sacrifice their dreams ,their likes and dislikes and many other things after their marriage ,Only one question that kept on taunting me was ,
WHY WE TALK ABOUT SACRIFICES FROM WOMEN SIDE ONLY, AND NOT FROM WE MEN.
I got my answer.., because we men only create such rules and give such quotes ,even our baba is a man . Its extremely my point of view, so no need to create havoc by followers of satya sai baba, with due regards to him .
Its high time now that we all should realize this fact and let their dreams flourish and help them touch a new height of peak.
They have got all the rights to live a life as independent as we men.
I have already taken an initiative towards this, it’s now your turn to do so.
